There were a few main factors that led me to choose NJIT. One of them being distance, as a Bergen County resident and employee in Morris County, NJIT's location in Newark is very advantageous. I also know many people, personally and professionally, that have graduated from NJIT, and they all give good testimony of the education they received here. One of the major projects I recently completed was a national precast concrete competition held in Indianapolis. Over the course of an intensive week, my team and I designed a zoo parking structure that integrated public interaction spaces—transforming a conventional garage into an engaging community asset. This project challenged us to blend structural efficiency with architectural creativity. Additionally, my architectural work was selected for representation at the 2025 Hillier College of Architecture and Design (HCAD) Design Showcase, which was a great honor and a testament to the dedication I bring to my academic projects.

I am usually a shut-in academic that avoids social interactions like the plague, but I decided to not do that as much here at NJIT per the advice of Stephen George, my academic advisor: (1) being involved with New Student Orientation for 2 years, Peer Mentor for Learning Community for 1 year, Nucleus Yearbook Member for 3 years, Student Ambassador for 3 years, (2) acquiring a 4.0 undergraduate GPA and a successful internship at AECOM for past 3 summers and winters, (3) getting through CE 332 Structural Analysis, and (4) class projects for CE 320 Fluid Mechanics, CE 494 Civil Engineering Design 1, CE 495 Civil Engineering Design 2.
